Linda Lear Shofner is a retired educator who spent thirty years helping children develop their writing skills. After retiring, she decided to take her turn at developing her own writing skills. Digging up a manuscript that she started writing over forty years ago and refining it proved to be more of a challenge than she could have anticipated. In addition to writing, Linda enjoys riding horses, and a variety of art related activities including theatre, painting, and music. She lives on a small farm in Kentucky with three cats, five horses, and her husband, J. E. She and J. E. have had a lot of fun restoring and driving Model A Fords. Linda is a collector of vintage clothing from the Model A Era 1929-1931, and she and J. E. often dress in period costume while driving their Model As.
